Bebe Rexha is candidly sharing the challenges she's facing in her music career with her fans. On July 2, the singer expressed her deep frustrations with the music industry through a series of heartfelt posts on X.

Starting her outburst, the 34-year-old artist exclaimed, "I could bring down a BIG chunk of this industry. I am frustrated. I have been undermined. I’ve kept quiet for too long," she disclosed. "The signs have always been there, yet when I’ve spoken out, I’ve been silenced and punished by this industry. Things must change, or I will spill all my truths—the good, the bad, and the ugly."

As fans pressed for more details, Rexha replied, "You think you know, but you’ve heard less than 5 percent. You have NO IDEA." Her response was to a fan who referred to her not being initially credited in her 2015 hit collaboration "Hey Mama." Rexha brushed off the incident as minor compared to other undisclosed issues: "That? That’s child’s play."

Despite assumptions of strategic timing with her venting coinciding with her new single release, "I'm the Drama," Rexha clarified, "Marketing? I have no budget for that. I’M FED UP."

The singer further expressed her emotional state, "It’s not just anger. It’s sadness. I’m alone in my London hotel room, crying my eyes out, feeling hopeless. Walking through this city and meeting fans has reignited something in me," she shared.

In a subsequent post, she found a silver lining, "Honestly, you all have given me strength."

Rexha's new track, "I'm the Drama," released on June 27, marks a significant phase in her life and career, following her previous single, "Chase It (Mmm Da Da Da)," released on May 17. The song debuted at Coachella, symbolizing a new chapter for Rexha. She reflected, "After everything I’ve gone through recently, including a breakup, I’ve found peace and feel excited and alive again. It's incredible to see everyone's excitement, but they have no idea the extent of what I’ve endured."
